The Life Member Guild of Northern California was established in Berkeley in May, 1974. The original Bylaws Committee was chaired by Vera V. Florid, and her committee members included Lela Moore, Mable Jackson, Gladys E. James, James Ella James, Lucille Goodspeed, and Graddye M. Payne.

The Life Member Guild has continued to grow and welcomes new members. The Guild meets (virtually) on the 5th Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. All NorCal members are encouraged to attend.
